Bats, Beetles and Butch women

This morning I woke to an amazing, sunny, and misty Radicondoli...what bliss! A bright new start to the day, popped into see that my little bat friend had truely left the premises, and yes, my luck held out, he was gone! Great, I thought now I can get back to normal, (?),I can put yesterday's "experience" behind me, and do some drawing, and maybe even finish this one. Now for a nice coffee to set me up for the day.....

The Doctor and the bat

Originally sent as an email to Marcus in mid September...

Well today has been a bit of a learning experience. I have had a sore eye since last Sunday. I'd seen the chemist, and drops hadn't worked. So I decided to go to the doctor yesterday, but apparently he only visits some days. So today was his day here. I had avoided asking people about him in case they insist I go down the homeopathic/ homeopathetic route, and I felt my eyesight was a little more important than that!

Lost the car and found a mouse

First sent as an email on 2nd September 2012

Autumn has arrived so quickly, it has taken me by surprise!

We're having a great time and have gone somewhere nearly everyday,

we were in Siena yesterday, and we just about saw a flag throwing procession for the winning contrada, I think it's the leopard this time. It's a long story, but we managed to loose the car and came across it, and eventually the car!

We ate at the Granaio last night, only a few tables occupied, and the food again was good.

On Monday can you drop the big piece to the Club between 10 and 1, maybe phone /email beforehand in case there's a cock up. It may also need to be delivered to the EU Offices in Dawson St. If it doesn't fit in the jeep, please pick something else biggish instead.

The Impression Show work drop off happens on Friday before 4 at the Gallery of Photography in Meeting House Square, (could they have picked a worse time?)

ps no more visitors to the flat, I think the "fresh" poo was the same mouse doing a lap of honour before throwing himself on the trap. Sheila did the needful and he had a very unusual funeral…flung out the kitchen window into the countryside! Hope his relatives don’t get wind of it!

testing... testing. 123. Testing

This is the first go at doing one of these. I was encouraged by my many admiring 'fans' to do it because of the long emails I sent during the summer that kept me sane.

I'm going to post them here in some chronological order for you all to see, and then, when bloggable stuff happens, I'll post that here too. The Upcoming and Recents sections will stay as they are, with 'official' news, but this area is where I will put up my stream-of-consciousness.
